Renegade Women tour

This ain’t your mama’s history walking tour! Actually, your mom might like this tour if she is interested in a refreshingly honest, unfiltered look at Nashville’s past with a special emphasis on the fearless women that made a mark on the city and even the country. We talk about inspiring women like those Tennessee suffragettes who helped pass the 19th amendment, business woman Lula Naff whose talent for booking put the Ryman Auditorium on the map, and Civil Rights leader Diane Nash who organized demonstrations in Nashville and beyond. This program includes content for more adult audiences, including stories about prostitution during the Civil War and Nashville’s colorful nightlife. This tour is ideal for bachelorettes looking for a fun, but classy, group activity. Of course, we welcome other individuals and groups interested in an alternative look at Nashville’s past. This tour is available on select dates, but can be requested for private groups and parties. Call (615) 576-0804 or email tours@echoesofnashville.com to book.
